Foundation 36 operates the Nevada State Micro-Grant Program. The program offers fast, emergency funds up to $500 for small projects, repairs, and other time-sensitive endeavors to qualifying Nevada nonprofit organizations and government(al) agencies. Micro Grants must serve the Foundation 36 mission: to preserve and protect Nevada’s historic, cultural, and natural treasures.
Eligible Applicants:
To be eligible, an applicant must be a nonprofit corporation or local, state, or federal government agency having goals that complement the Foundation 36 mission. To qualify, nonprofit organizations must be incorporated as a Nevada nonprofit corporation and have tax exempt status under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service code.
Nevada State Micro Grants are not available to private corporations.
No applicant may receive more than $500 in Nevada State Micro Grants over any 12 month period.

Each Micro Grant is limited to $500.
Foundation 36 reserves the right to suspend or terminate its Nevada State Micro Grant Program at any time without notice.
Award Criteria:
All decisions by Foundation 36 are final. In its sole authority, the Foundation 36 Nevada State Micro Grant Committee will elect to approve or deny grant applications. A single applicant is not permitted to have more than one application in process at a time. Multiple applicants are not permitted to apply for an identical expenditure (e.g. two nonprofit tenants in one building applying for repairs to the same roof). Foundation 36 reserves all rights.
The Application Process:
Organizations seeking Nevada State Micro Grants must submit the online application form.
Applications may be submitted at any time via the online form. Upon receipt, Foundation 36 will review the application for completeness and suitability. Foundation 36 will make its best effort to approve or deny applications within five to seven (5-7) business days from receipt of a complete application. Upon approval of a Micro Grant application, Foundation 36 will mail the applicant an award letter containing a check for the requested amount. Nevada State Micro Grant checks must be deposited or cashed within 30 days and funds used for the specified project immediately thereafter. Costs incurred prior to the application date are not eligible.
